Review
The playground located near the unique Rathfarnham Castle is similar to the one found in Phoenix Park. It is relatively spacious, modern and full of interesting and inspiring play equipment. Besides the traditional swings, springers, climbing frames and multi play units with slides, there is a massive, gigantic castle with long-long slides which is a big hit with everyone. Unfortunately, due to the tall trees found around the playground, most of the place is shaded and chilly on cold winter days. Behind the playground, there is a lovely pond with ducks and in the wooded area you can find several wooden climbing units and balancing structures suitable especially for older kids or adults. Taking a walk in the park is a good option to relax, while visiting the cosy tearoom or popping in the castle can be enjoyable as well.
